I get it — we all have to start somewhere, and so did I. I found myself standing in my backyard with a dream that felt completely out of reach. A blank canvas with a thousand possibilities and no idea where to begin.
But here's the thing — it's not impossible. Actually, it's very possible. We built our first greenhouse with no experience and no blueprints, just a dream and the determination to bring the vision to life.
That experience taught me something important: others need now what we needed then. A solid plan.
We weren't the only ones standing in the backyard feeling stuck, priced out of custom built greenhouses, and let down by prefab options that couldn't handle year round weather. So I created the building guides we wished we'd had — plain English, step-by-step instructions written so anyone can follow them, no experience required.

My name is Carolynne and I've walked this journey myself—and now I'm here to guide you through the same transformation, step by step.
My foundation started with education and real-world experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, University of Alberta
- Animal Science Diploma, Lakeland College
- 5+ years as a Crop Advisor in the agriculture industry
Then in 2020, when the world faced food scarcity and supply chain concerns, my priorities shifted. I realized I needed to be more independent. I needed to create a food supply right in my own backyard.
That's when we built my first greenhouse, the Petunia, and everything changed.
Now, I'm here to help you experience that same transformation.

Do I need experience to build?
Not necessarily! Many of our guides are beginner-friendly, with detailed, step-by-step instructions and real images to guide you. If a project requires more advanced skills, we note that in the description so you can choose the right build for your skill level.
Can I customize a design?
Yes! Many of our customers adjust the dimensions or materials to suit their space and needs. Our guides provide a strong foundation, but you’re free to modify as needed. Just be sure to consider structural integrity when making adjustments.
Where can I buy materials?
Most materials can be found at local hardware stores, lumber yards, or farm supply stores.Our guides list all necessary materials so you can source them before you start building.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the project! Each guide includes an estimated build time based on two people working together. Smaller projects may take a day or two, while larger builds (like greenhouses) may take a weekend or more.
Are the guides digital or printed?
Both! Our guides are beautifully printed publications that are delivered right to your doorstep. We also understand that digital versions can be very handy so with every printed guide, you also receive a digital copy!
Do you offer refunds or returns?
If you’re not satisfied with the quality or accuracy of your guide, contact us within 30 days of purchase and we’ll issue a full refund.
Do I need special tools?
Most of our builds use common tools found in a standard workshop. If a guide requires specific tools, you’ll see them listed in the instructions so you can plan accordingly.
