Meet Carolynne Hill
In 2020, when food scarcity became impossible to ignore, Carolynne knew something had to change. She wanted to do what generations before her had done; grow real food for her family, in her own backyard, the right way.
Her first step? She built a greenhouse. She called it The Petunia.
With a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and over five years as a Crop Advisor in the agriculture industry, Carolynne had the knowledge and what started as a passion project to feed her family grew into something much bigger: a mission to help others do the same.
Today, through her DIY building guides designed around the best builds in her own backyard, Carolynne teaches aspiring growers how to build with confidence, even if they're starting from scratch. She's still growing her own yardstead, and still showing up every day for the community she's built around it.
